The Hillsdale Post of the American Legion is located at 402 Main Street in Hillsdale. The Post Commander is Jeff Yenney. The American Legion is open for new members and is also open to the public. The Hillsdale Post of the American Legion invites you to attend their monthly meeting the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM. Moore Memorial District Library, located at 509 Main Street, Hillsdale was first opened to the public on September 11, 1942. Mrs. Sadie Woodburn bequeathed $10,000 in her will when she died on May 3, 1935 for the erection of a library as a memorial to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Moore.

The library is open for business during the following hours:

  • Mondays 9:00-Noon & 2:00-8:00
  • Tuesdays 2:00-8:00
  • Wednesdays 2:00-6:00
  • Thursday and Saturday 9:00-Noon

The Hillsdale Post Office is located at 108 Butzer St., Hillsdale. The current Postmaster is Linda Wetzell. The Post Office is open the following hours:

  • 8:30-10:30 and 12:00-4:15 Monday through Friday
